Chris is a nationally registered and Oregon-licensed paramedic, educator, and academic dedicated to advancing the field of emergency medical services through education, research, and advocacy. He has been recognized for leading interdisciplinary teams in developing EMS textbooks, conducting original research, facilitating high-fidelity simulation training, and implementing community-based health initiatives.

Chris is a frequent presenter at local, national, and international conferences, where he speaks on topics such as crew resource management, health equity, and community paramedicine/mobile integrated healthcare. He currently serves as faculty in the Department of Emergency Medical Services at Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine and Oregon Tech in Portland, Oregon.
