Frank Ehrmantraut, NREMTP

Frank Ehrmantraut serves as the Division Chief of EMS for Polk County Fire District No. 1   

He is a dedicated member of the EMS community since 2005, he has worked in both public and private agencies, gaining experience in a variety of roles. In addition to his leadership in EMS, Frank is an adjunct professor at George Fox University, where he helps future psychologists understand the unique culture of Fire & EMS professionals. He also serves on Oregon’s EMS Advisory Board and contributes his expertise to various regional and state workgroups.

Frank holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Master of Public Administration from American Public University. He has also earned numerous fire and EMS-related certifications, including several from the National Fire Academy.

Frank lives in Salem with his wife, Carilyn, and their daughter, Emma. His family is actively involved with the Shriners and other community-focused initiatives. In their free time, they enjoy visiting farmers’ markets, hosting game nights, reading, and traveling.
