Jennifer Stanislaw, MSOL, NRP
Jennifer Stanislaw, MSOL, NRP and Oregon Paramedic. She currently leads the West Salem (OR) High School Emergency Services Program, an EMT/Fire Science Career and Technical Education program for the Salem-Keizer (Oregon) School District. She has over 25 years of experience in emergency medicine, from volunteer to career, private and fire-based, urban, suburban, and rural emergency services. Her field career culminated as an EMS Training Officer/ Fire Lieutenant before semi-retiring from fieldwork to pursue the most challenging career, parenthood.
She didn’t abandon her passion for the fire service; instead, she turned to teaching and mentoring the next generation of EMTs and firefighters. She continues to keep current in the field by working part-time with Jefferson Rural Fire District as a paramedic and volunteer firefighter. She is married to a retired firefighter/paramedic and has 2 children. When she isn’t busy with her family, teaching, or working, she can be found kayaking.
